Meet the Author – Charlotte Gray
This afternoon Royal Brock Retirement Living partnered with the Newcomers and Brockville Loves Books to host literary genius Charlotte Gray. Charlotte was first interviewed by Cogeco in our library and then was joined by over 100 people to hear her speak. She is funny, charismatic and a brilliant speaker.
Charlotte Gray is one of Canada’s best known writers. She has penned ten acclaimed books of literary non-fiction, most of which have now been added to our library for our residents to enjoy.
Born in Sheffiled England, and educated at Oxford University she began her career as a journalist.
She moved to Canada in 1979 and became a political commentator, book reviewer and magazine columnist before turning to biography and history.
Charlotte appears regularly on radio and television as a political and cultural commentator.
It was an honor to meet her, and to hear her speak.
