Meet Margaret Hall

Margaret was born and raised in Montreal. She is the mother of three children, and always enjoyed being a full-time mother. She and her

husband moved to Brockville27 years ago and moved to Country Club Place where they made many friends.

In July of this year, Margaret had surgery and came to stay at Royal Brock Retirement Living for her recovery.

In Margaret’s words, “Both the staff and residents are so welcoming and friendly When it was time for me to leave, I told my son I almost

hated to leave! he said then don’t! Enjoy yourself!” So, I made the decision to sell my home and move in. It was an excellent decision.

I’m very happy. And feel very much at home here.” She continues,

“I always said I would move into a retirement home before I needed to, so I could enjoy everything there is to offer. I firmly believe it will add

years onto my life.” Margaret is very active. She is the convenor for “A Marathon Bridge,”

proceeds going to palliative care. She is also a member of the Seniors Club where she enjoys the company of great people. She loves to play cards and partakes in a variety of activities at Royal Brock Retirement. Margaret is known in the building for her kindness, and her incredible sense of humor.

When asked what the best part of living at Royal Brock Retirement is, she says “I love meeting new people. It’s a very social place. I’m happy, I’m very comfortable and I love that there’s always something new and different to do”

Residents like Margaret have definitely added to the success of Royal Brock Retirement. We are quickly becoming known for our incredible atmosphere, it comes from both staff and residents alike.

“I absolutely love everything.  I can’t say one thing I don’t like about living here. The staff are so kind.  I almost get choked up talking about how truly blessed I feel to live here, and to have such a beautiful place to call home.”
