Born and raised in Brockville, Mikaela joined our team in October of 2019. Mikaela is very friendly and her incredible work ethic is noticed every single day. She goes above and beyond to enrich the lives of our residents.

When asked what she enjoys most about working at Royal Brock Retirement she said that she really enjoys getting to know the residents and interacting with them.

Mikaela is a nature-lover who enjoys hiking and camping and hopes to one day obtain her forestry degree.

I asked Mikaela what she likes most about Royal Brock Retirement, and she said she loves that the residents paint, and how creative they are.  We have incredible activities here.  She often looks at their artwork and becomes inspired.  She is an avid artist who paints and sketches and finds it very calming. She said it’s a great way to relieve stress. Mikaela paints mostly landscapes, mountains and lakes.  Mikaela has travelled to the East Cost and draws from that experience for her artwork.
