It was an evening in little Italy for our Royal Brock Retirement Living famiglia at this months fine dining event. Benvenuti a tuttito to a country where a simple ciao and an appreciation of La Dolce far Niente, the “sweetness of doing nothing” can go a long way with the friends at your dinner table. Italians focus on good and simple: family and friends, good food and drink, and hearty conversation. Andiamo a cena? Salute! to a nice bicchiere di vino, some sparkling Sanpellegrino and trio tomato Bruschetta with fresh bread. Buon Appetito! Chicken parmesan in marinara sauce and provolone cheese, herb Tuscan lamb chops with a balsamic garnish, Italian seasoned fingerling potatoes and roasted butternut squash with sage and red onion. Before we could say Basta! Basta! Amaretto Tiramisu. Bravo! to our talented Culinary team and Dietary staff, fate bene. Andiamo!
