Blossom Festival Fine Dining

A Night of Cherry Blossom

Konbanwa, esteemed residents! Last night’s April Fine Dining event whisked us away on a culinary journey through the Cherry Blossom Festival. The dining room bloomed with blossoms, lanterns, and dragons, setting the stage for an unforgettable feast.

Our culinary journey began with the flavors of the Japanese Kani Crab Salad—a tantalizing blend of crab, mango, and cucumber, elegantly dressed in rice wine and mayonnaise, resting atop a bed of fresh greens.

For the main course, residents were presented with two options. The Shrimp Stuffed Chicken Breast offered a symphony of flavors, with tender chicken enveloping a delectable filling of shrimp, cabbage, and more, all bathed in a pineapple sesame sauce. Alternatively, the Peking Pork with Peppers and Onions whisked taste buds away to the bustling streets of Beijing, with thinly sliced pork, lightly fried and stir-fried with peppers and onions in a delightful tangy-sweet sauce.

As the evening reached its sweet conclusion, our dessert of Almond Palmiers provided the perfect finale—a delicate pastry layered with sugared puff pastry and almonds.

After dinner, the Grand Hall reverberated with the soulful melodies of Pat Johnson, whose bluesy tunes and world-class guitar picking. Our deepest gratitude to the talented culinary and dietary teams whose dedication and passion brought this magical evening to life.

As the petals of the cherry blossoms drift gently in the breeze, may each day be filled with the simple joys of good food, great company, and the enduring beauty of Sakura.
