Italian Rivera Fine Dining

Buongiorno, amici!

Last night was a serata fantastica at Royal Brock Retirement Living! We set sail on an Italian Riviera cruise with a feast fit for a capitano and a soirée that would make even the most seasoned marinero proud. Before dinner, Randy Petlock filled the fireplace room with Italian music, singing classic tunes that whisked us away to the streets of Italy.

The dining room was transformed into a Mediterranean escape, in shades of blue, white, and turquoise, with anchors, fishing nets, and seashells adding a seaside charm. The staff and residents were decked out in their finest cruise wear—think stile elegante as we embarked on this culinary voyage.

For diner we were treated to a Festino de Mare. The appetizer featured a house made Spinach Focaccia Bread topped with Prosciutto and Mozzarella —delizioso! For the main course, we had a choice between Wild Mushroom Chicken Marsala or Baked Pacific Snapper. Both dishes were accompanied by Mediterranean Roasted Vegetables and Parsley, Butter and Garlic Fingerling Potatoes—che bontà! And for the grand finale? An Amaretto Apricot tart that left us all saying, molto buono!

After dinner, we were serenaded in the Grand Hall by the talented Larry Wright. His performance was the perfect cherry tomato on top of our Italian adventure.

A huge grazie to our culinary, dietary, and wellness staff for making the evening so special. Bravi to everyone who made this cruise-themed night another one to remember! Until the next festa, arrivederci!
