The recent  nice weather has really been wonderful for our residents.  We have so many who love to spend time tending to their garden or even just sitting outside to enjoy the fresh air and sunshine.  Each year our garden gets bigger and better. We have residents who have been competing for the biggest tomato for 4 years!  This year, we have added to the veggie garden with lots of berry bushes and citrus trees.

So much of our garden was started inside from seed and we’ve had resident bring their beloved plants and flowers from their gardens at home.  Royal Brock Retirement has become known for our incredible food and activities and now we have so many people commenting on our garden and home made bird houses that give the residents so much enjoyment. We even have staff members who love photography coming in on their days off to capture the different species of birds who come to the garden.
