Last night, our October fine dining event cast a delectable spell on our taste buds and transported us to a world of spellbinding flavors and witchy wonders! The Royal Brock Retirement Living dining room was adorned with cauldrons and cone-shaped hats as our staff and residents donned their finest witchy attire. Our dining menu for the evening was nothing short of enchanting, from appetizers to dessert, every course left us under its spell.
We started our culinary journey with the ethereal flavors of Smoked Salmon Mousse served with fresh English Cucumbers and house-made bread, it was a truly bewitching start to our enchanting feast. For the main course, diners had the delightful choice between two enchanting options, Stuffed Pork Tenderloin, sliced rounds of pork tenderloin stuffed with savory apple, rosemary, and thyme dressing, topped with a rich, velvety gravy that left everyone spellbound. Classic Chicken Piccata, a 5 oz pounded and seared chicken breast served with a zesty Lemon Butter Sauce adorned with capers and Italian parsley, a truly enchanting dish that whisked everyone away on a flavor adventure. Our Herb Roasted Fingerling Potatoes and Sautéed Asparagus accompanied the main courses, with their earthy allure and complementing flavors. No enchanting evening is complete without a sweet ending, and for dessert, we savored the Triple Chocolate Cake. This decadent creation featured layers of chocolate cake, chocolate mousse, and was cloaked in a luxurious Chocolate Ganache. It was the perfect spell for any chocolate lover, leaving us all with satisfied smiles. But the enchantment doesn’t end with dinner! After dinner, everyone enjoyed live music by Tim Hallman, the soothing tunes and magical melodies carried us away into the night.
