Aloha from Royal Brock!

This month’s Fine Dining experience transported our residents straight to the Hawaiian Islands for an evening filled with incredible food, live music, and wonderful company.

One of the highlights of the day was the authentic cruise ship atmosphere. Our Sales and Marketing Manager, Shawn, spent years working aboard a cruise line, and he brought a special touch to the event by sharing genuine cruise ship memorabilia from his time at sea. Those personal pieces sparked conversations, brought back cherished travel memories for many of our residents, and made the experience feel even more authentic.

As always, our culinary team outdid themselves with a menu that was as beautiful as it was delicious. Residents began with a refreshing Shrimp and Mango Salsa Ceviche, followed by their choice of Soyu Chicken or Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Pork Tenderloin, served with a Mini Potato Medley and Roasted Summer Vegetables. The perfect ending? A slice of creamy Key Lime Pie that tasted like sunshine on a plate.

The sounds of live  music, creating the perfect backdrop as residents laughed, reminisced, and enjoyed an evening that felt like a tropical getaway without ever leaving home.

At Royal Brock Retirement Living, our monthly Fine Dining events have become a treasured tradition. They are so much more than a meal, they’re an opportunity to create experiences, celebrate different cultures, and make lasting memories together. Seeing our residents smiling, singing along to the music, and sharing stories is exactly why we love hosting these special events.
